To accommodate ELD enforcement, FMCSA just updated its list of roadside inspection violations for the Hours Of Service Compliance BASIC. These new violations address ELDs with severity values from 1 to 7.  Violations include failure to possess appropriate documentation, not knowing how to use the device, and operating a device not registered with the FMCSA.
