With over 900 vehicles and 700 drivers, DOT recordkeeping was no easy task. Managing compliant records for multiple vehicle classes added another layer of complexity. Encompass simplified the company’s recordkeeping process, and now provides Bodway with valuable insights that ensure their fleet is fully compliant.

“Prior to Encompass, we went from paper files to using a generic electronic records storage system. However, we were missing the workflow component that told us when our files needed to be updated,” Bodway explained. “Encompass provides notifications of files that are expiring, such as med cards and motor vehicle records.”

No matter what type of vehicle they’re operating, Encompass has fleet compliance covered. “We have a mixed fleet of light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles,” Bodway noted. “We can use Encompass the same way for all our vehicles, no matter the vehicle type. It’s easy to track all our driver files, motor vehicle records, and accident records.”

With Encompass, driver qualification has never been easier for Bodway. “The driver qualification section of Encompass is one of my favorite features,” Bodway said. “It has everything I need to stay in compliance. Encompass helps me oversee everything to do with all of our employees who drive a company vehicle, either CMVs or non-CMVs. It keeps track of licensing for all our drivers and company vehicles.”

Bodway uses Encompass® with ELogs and Encompass® Vehicle Tracking to manage driver logs. Having all the data available in the Encompass back office has saved time for both herself and her drivers. “With Encompass, I no longer have to manually go through driver logs to see who has a violation, and our drivers are better able to maintain their own logs.”
